  • With a win, Tarleton would win their first conference game of the season for the first time since 2018-19, when they opened their Lone Star Conference slate with a W vs. Texas A&M-Kingsville.
  • On Wednesday, Tarleton will have played just one game in the past 16 days, a game on Nov. 22.
  • The Texans have shined in fourth quarters this year. They've outscored each opponent in the final frame this season, combining to win the quarter 91-56, winning the frame by an average of 8.8 points. Tarleton has shot a combined 34-of-62 (.548) in the fourth quarter this season.
  • Jakoriah Long just scored a career-high (and team-high) 16 points on 6-of-9 shooting, adding four rebounds and two blocks off the bench. Her 16 points are most by a Texan reserve this year.
  • The Texans just debuted a new starting five for the first time after posting the same starting lineup the first three games. Miannah Little and Lexi Bull just logged their first starts. Little scored a career-high 10 points, while Bull had career-highs in points (eight) and rebounds (nine).
  • Tarleton's bench has pulled its weight, accounting for 42.0 percent of the team's points (120/286).
  • Tarleton lost their last game despite outshooting (.407 to .397) and outrebounding (42-33) their opponent. Before Wednesday, that had happened only twice over the past three seasons.
