The Texans return to Texas Tech for the second consecutive meet and the second of three times this year. Tarleton State will make its final trek to Lubbock in outdoor season for the Corky/Crofoot Classic.

Last week at the Corky Classic, three school records fell, with a pair being broke twice hours apart of each other. First, Malak Rashwan broke the school record she set in December in the prelims, before breaking it again in the semifinal heat. She crossed in 8.52 seconds to set a new program record, for the third time this season. The Cairo, Egypt, native, also broke the Egypt national record with the fastest ever time in the 60-meter hurdles by an Egypt-born athlete.

Victoria Cameron also broke a school record twice shattering the record in the 60-meter dash in the qualifying round and then once again in the semifinals. Her semifinal run of 7.19 seconds qualified second for finals, but she chose not to run. Cameron's mark ranks fifth in the NCAA and eighth among all women in the world this calendar year.

Aidan Matthews was the final school record breaker on the weekend. Competing in a field full of SEC athletes, Matthews finished 10th in the 200-meter run in 21.21 setting a new school record. The former D3 All-American posted the fastest time in program history succeeding current Texan David Mvundura's 21.28 mark.

In total, three school records and nine top 10 performances were set just two weeks ago in Lubbock.

In its first week of the season on December 5-7, the Texans set seven school records. In addition, 16 individuals posted 17 total program top 10 performances during the first weekend.
