STEPHENVILLE, Texas — For the third year in a row, Tarleton State Athletics will host special guests from 105.3 The Fan in the DFW area for select Tarleton State Football radio broadcasts upcoming.
This season's partnership begins Saturday when The Fan's Bryan Broaddus makes his debut on the Tarleton Sports Network, joining
Byron Anderson, Kyle Masters, and Keltin Wiens on the call for the Texans' Homecoming game against West Georgia. Later in the season, RJ Choppy and Bobby Belt from The Shan and RJ Show will return for their second appearance in the booth during the regular season finale on Nov. 22, when Tarleton State hosts Austin Peay.
Broaddus brings an extensive background in football to the Tarleton State broadcast booth, including his experience as a former LSU football player, NFL scout, and co-host of The G-Bag Nation on The Fan. He also serves as part of the Dallas Cowboys Radio Network coverage team, contributing to pregame, halftime, and postgame shows.
Choppy and Belt bring more than two decades of combined experience covering DFW sports. The popular morning show duo will split duties for the Texans' regular season finale broadcast, with one calling the first half and the other taking over in the second.
Tarleton State's relationship with The Fan dates back to Feb. 22, 2023, when Choppy joined an ESPN+ broadcast of Tarleton State Men's Basketball's 77–74 win over Grand Canyon. The victory became one of the most memorable moments in Tarleton State Athletics history, capped off by a court-storming celebration.
