Junior Dishmey tallied a team high 25 hits in just 14 games while hitting .510 in March after coming off an injury. The Dominican Republic standout recorded four doubles and his first home run of the season, while knocking in 16 runs batted in and scoring 13 runs himself. He led the team in most offensive categories including a .653 slugging percentage and .569 on-base percentage. The junior second baseman stole four bases on the month as well.

 

Dishmey was named the LSC Diamond Hitter of the Week on March 31 after hitting .647 over a weekend series with Texas A&M-Kingsville.
