McNeil finished first overall at the North Texas Cross Country Classic leading the Texans to it's first of two regular-season meets.  He finished third overall at the Naimadu ACU Classic as the Texans took first-place in back-to-back meets.  

The junior out of Saginaw finished ninth overall at the 2009 LSC Championships in Canyon, earning all-LSC accolades and leading the Texans to a second-place finish in the championship meet.
