Casazza recorded a team-high 23 hits while hitting .426 during the month of April. He hit more than 50% of his home run total on the season during the month, tallying eight of his 14 home runs in April, while slugging .944 as well. The junior right fielder had four doubles and drove in 27 runs while scoring 18 runs. Casazza, a native of Temecula, Cailf., was a two-time LSC Diamond Hitter of the week in April and was named a Second Team All-Lone Star Conference selection at the end of the month.
