Tarleton State University Athletics Hall of Fame
Tomlinson has been an outstanding supporter of Tarleton Athletics and has served on the Texan Club Board of Directors for more than 20 years. Tomlinson is a two-time Texan Club President having served the role from 1994-96 and then again from 2008-10 and has coordinated high school playoff games at Memorial Stadium. He received the Distinguished All-Purple Award in 1997 for his contributions to the Tarleton athletic programs. Tarleton also recognized Tomlinson for his extraordinary concessions service during athletic events and named the Memorial Stadium Purple and White Pavilion after him in the spring of 2008.
